Trochu Seniors Supportive Living and St. Mary’s Health Care Centre

The Trochu Seniors Supportive Living facility is a Town of Trochu/Trochu Housing Corporation capital project funded in part by the Alberta government. Covenant Health will operate St. Mary’s Health Care Centre within this new facility once it opens in 2027.
We will continue to offer independent living and long-term care at the new St. Mary’s, helping residents stay in the Trochu and Kneehill County area as they age. With 12 new supportive living beds, we look forward to welcoming more residents to our community.
Timelines
Construction is ongoing, and we expect the facility to open in 2027.
Site profile
We are committed to supporting residents with everything they need today and in years to come.
The new facility will include modern amenities, meeting the latest standards. It will have:

Residents will enjoy TV, exercise, activity and workshop areas, along with underground parking, a foot and hair salon and a small shop. They will also be able to host out-of-town family members in the facility’s guest suite.
