Job shadows
Covenant Health is pleased to offer job shadows at all of our sites. Our rural and urban centres offer close-knit teams with a variety of specializations and industry-leading services.
Whether you’re a student considering your future career or a professional looking for a change, consider a job shadow with our knowledgeable team members.
Job shadows are available in clinical and corporate roles across many specialties and programs. You can connect with a registered nurse, physical therapist, pharmacy technician, human resources professional or other roles working together to improve health care for Albertans.
Book your job shadow today
We’ll match you with a mentor and arrange a job shadow at your preferred site so you can learn more about your future in health care.
Who can job shadow?
Job shadows are open to:
- students in Grades 9 – 12
- post secondary students
- healthcare workers looking to change careers or employers
- those applying for post-secondary programs who are required to attend an observation before applying
To attend a job shadow at a healthcare facility you will need to provide your measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) immunization.
We are unable to arrange physician job shadows at this time.
Take Our Kids to Work Day
We are registered with the Students Commission of Canada Take Our Kids to Work program. It gives Grade 9 - 12 students a chance to job shadow their parents or a parent-host for the day.
