Our centre offers services for people who have issues involving the musculoskeletal system (i.e., the muscles, bones, joints, tendons, ligaments and nerves).

• follow-up after surgery
• instructions for orthopedic braces (braces can be purchased from the pharmacy)
• instructions for crutches (crutches can be purchased from the pharmacy)

Orthopedic surgery

We offer surgery to treat certain musculoskeletal issues. These include:

• traumas involving extremities
• foot conditions (e.g., bunions, fusions, toe corrections, tendon and ligament repairs, fractures, ankle scopes, repair of claw toes)
• leg issues (e.g., knee replacements, knee scopes, fractured hips, tendon repairs, ligament repairs, hip replacements)
• arm and shoulder issues (e.g., clavicle repairs, rotator cuff and other shoulder injuries, fractures of the upper and lower arm, wrists, hands and fingers, correction of trigger fingers or constricted fingers)
• nonunion fractures, hardware removal and other issues

Hours

Surgeries are performed 12-14 days per month.

After-hours surgeries available on an on-call basis.

You will need a referral from your doctor to use our services.
