Payroll
Enter direct deposit information, view the pay calendar and review your personal income tax information.
Set up direct deposit
All employees must set up direct deposit to be paid.
Once you have network access, you must enter your direct deposit information in e-People within five days of your start date.
Submit tax information
TD1 and TD1AB forms determine how much tax to deduct from your employment income or other income, such as pension income.
If you only have the basic amounts for federal and provincial income tax to be deducted from your pay, you do not need to submit either the TD1 or TD1AB form. These are default amounts that will be deducted from your pay.
If you wish to have other deductions taken from your pay above the basic amounts, you can submit your TD1 and TD1AB forms through e-People Employee Self Service.
On your first day, go to CompassionNet > Employee Centre > My Compensation > My Pay > e-People > Employee Resources > Taxation Information and Year End Reminders to find more information and instructions for submitting the forms.
See the Canada Revenue Agency for more information and resources.
Pay dates
We pay employees every two weeks on Wednesdays. Your first pay will vary depending on your start date. See the payroll calendar for direct deposit dates.
View paycheques
You can view and print your paycheques for current and prior pay periods in e-People. See the paycheque quick reference guide for more information.
Electronic T4/T4A
You can view and print your T4 and T4A tax slips for current and previous years in e-People.
See the e-People Quick Reference Guide pages on CompassionNet.
