Innovation in gynecology
The Misericordia’s innovative team was the first in the province to perform hysteroscopies under sedation rather than general anesthesia, which has decreased surgical wait times and shortened hospital stays for patients.
We are also the only site in the zone to offer Acessa, a fibroid procedure that delivers heat directly into a fibroid to treat the tissue and relieve symptoms, while protecting the uterus.
