Outpatient mental health
The outpatient mental health program offers group therapy to help patients work through challenges while focusing on health, wellness and acceptance. We have a range of therapeutic groups to suit individual needs.
Services
General groups
We serve patients with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and personality disorders. Our team will assess you to see which of our groups suit your needs:
- Distress Tolerance Group: a 11-session group that focuses on coping with distress. We will explore strategies to manage painful or difficult events.
- Emotion Regulation Group: an 11-session group that helps you manage your emotions.
- Insomnia Sleep Group: a 6-session group to help patients with chronic insomnia address their sleep issues without using medication.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness Group: a 12-session group that builds your skills to manage conflict and improve relationships.
- Intro to CBT: a 11-session group that focuses on cognitive reframing skills. We help you understand how behaviors, thoughts and emotions interact and influence choices.
- Mind Over Mood: an 11-session group that focuses on skills to cope with your mood disorder. We help you track your mood and identify core beliefs to reframe your thoughts.
- Mindfulness & Relaxation Group: a weekly drop-in group to provide relaxation and support. This group provides mindfulness skills to practice being present and less overwhelmed by what is going on around us.
