The Misericordia Community Hospital provides services for pregnant patients and babies before, during and after birth on an inpatient and outpatient basis. We care for you and your baby based on your needs and wants.
We are a designated Baby-Friendly hospital. This means we meet requirements laid out by the World Health Organization and UNICEF, and adapted by the Breastfeeding Committee for Canada, to protect, promote and support breastfeeding for those who choose to.
All labour and delivery rooms are private, and postpartum rooms are either private or semiprivate (two beds).
Join us for a free prenatal unit tour to get to know the Misericordia hospital and what to expect before your delivery date.
We can't wait to meet you!
We support labour while providing a range of options that ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby. Our team provides personalized care tailored to your needs and preferences, ensuring a safe and positive birthing experience.
All patient rooms for labour and delivery are private rooms.
Our unit cares for patients and babies after birth. This includes making sure your baby and family are healthy and ready to go home when the time comes.
We offer private and semiprivate (two bed) rooms for patients after their baby is born.
