Covenant Health is Alberta's largest voluntary sector healthcare provider combining leading-edge science with the values of faith-based health care. We operate 17 sites in 12 communities across Alberta.

In addition, Covenant Care operates eight sites in six communities.

These sites provide a range of services, including acute care, continuing care, assisted living, hospice, rehabilitation and respite care and seniors' housing.

Covenant’s strategic focus is to serve vulnerable populations in the areas of mental health, continuing care, rural care and palliative and end-of-life care.

Covenant Partner program

The Covenant Partner program engages current or past patients, residents, families and interested members of the community with lived experience with the healthcare system. Listening to their feedback is essential to providing care that is safer and better informed and leads to better healthcare experiences and outcomes.

Albertans 4 Health Research

Albertans 4 Health Research (AbSPORU) is an online network that connects health researchers with people who are interested in contributing to the research that matters to them. The AbSPORU website is a source for all current opportunities in health research.

Be the Cure for research participants

Several Alberta organizations have partnered to connect potential research participants with research studies through Be the Cure. Search for studies in areas that you are interested in and connect.

It Starts With Me for study participants

It Starts With Me was developed by patients and caregivers who have participated in a clinical trial or have had a loved one participate in a clinical trial and by people who work in clinical trials and research.

University of Calgary

The University of Calgary lists research studies that are open for recruitment. The studies are accessible by anyone interested in participating.
