Arriving at the hospital

Go straight to the labour and delivery unit when you get to the hospital. If you are not sure where to go, you can go to the admitting desk in the hospital lobby and a staff member will help you.

Admitting locations

Main admitting

Main admitting is located inside the front lobby and to the right when you enter either hospital. The front doors are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

If main admitting is closed, go directly to emergency admitting.

Emergency admitting 

Access emergency admitting on the east side of the Grey Nuns hospital and on the west side of the Misericordia hospital. Emergency admitting is open 24 hours every day. 

Documents

Bring any papers your health care provider has given you and give them to the nursing staff when you arrive on the unit.
