Celebrate National Volunteer Week

During National Volunteer Week, we proudly thank and celebrate all Covenant volunteers. Their compassion, dedication and generosity enrich the lives of our patients, residents and care teams, strengthening the fabric of our community every day.

This year’s campaign, Ignite Volunteerism, highlights the many ways volunteers spark connection and inspire others to give back in their communities. It aligns National Volunteer Week with a year-long effort to elevate civic participation, honour volunteer stories and strengthen a culture of service across the country.

Whether welcoming visitors, supporting programs, planning activities or offering care and companionship, our volunteers ignite belonging, hope and compassion in all that they do. Volunteering is a selfless gift, one that volunteers give freely. Their time, talents and big hearts make a meaningful difference throughout Covenant.

Through their dedication and care, volunteers create a lasting impact that ripples across our sites and into our communities.

In 2025, 2,920 volunteers contributed 112,312.37 hours of service. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to giving back and for the countless moments of kindness they share.
