Wendy Dugas
Board member
Wendy Dugas has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, holding executive positions with a variety of local organizations. She has been the chief executive officer of the Alberta College of Paramedics, the regulator for the paramedic profession in Alberta, since 2018.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, she completed her university degree with a major in human resources before moving to Canada in 2000. Her experience working with United Way of the Alberta Capital Region, the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation cemented her passion for community development, governance, organizational excellence and stakeholder relations.
Wendy obtained the Institute of Corporate Directors director designation in 2022. She is an active community volunteer and serves as vice-chair of the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation board and as vice-president of the Caregivers Alberta board. She is also a member of the Alberta Federation of Regulated Health Professions board and the CarePros Advisory Board.
